About me
Hi, call me Ton Martins.
I am a Multidisciplinary, Curious, and Experienced
Designer with 26 years of experience
in design, digital products and innovation.
Over two decades of experience working for brands, exploring creative ways to sell and communicate, I expanded my perspective by specializing in the creation and evolution on digital business, crafting digital products, and interactive experiences.
I bring a strong background in creative thinking, problem-solving, strong networking, communications, storytelling, influencing skills across internal and external stakeholders and business strategy to the table. I highly enjoy involving in the entire design process.
Over the years I have worked, hands-on and led teams working on digital products for a wide range of industries. In addition to being a startup, expanding management and negotiation with stakeholders, project management, partners and suppliers.
I have a great passion for technology, games, photography, cinema, watching series and movies.

As I mentioned initially, knowing the rules is fundamental. Equally important as applying Design Thinking principles is maintaining a keen eye on the iteration and scalability of the solution, always considering the process of empathizing with users, defining the problem, ideating ideas, prototyping, and testing.

Tools
When it comes to tools, do they really matter? We’ve seen tools like Flash, Adobe XD, Adobe Muse and InVision come and go. I believe the role of a designer is to be passionate about technology and dedicated to delivering innovative value to society through the power of design. Therefore, designers must stay adaptable and focused on the impact they can create. But, to be honest, I prefer working with Figma and Miro over Sketch and Lucid, but I have no issues with any type of technology.

Courses | I am a design instructor at Crehana, a creative technology school, where I teach UI Design, Service Design and Motion Design courses.
This was a unique experience. In addition to the high-quality production of the recorded classes at the excellent Crehana studio in São Paulo, students could watch the classes during Latam flights in Brazil.
